Ponseti Brace Measurements Table and Sizing Guide for Ponseti AFO sandals including Plantar Flexion Stop (PFS) sandals and Toe Stilt Sandals
(All measurements are in centimeters.)
The size shown is the size of the sandal, not the foot. The length of the foot is measured from the sole of the heel to the tip of the big toe. We provide sandals to the next size up from the size of the foot depending on the length and width. Example: A 9cm foot would require a 9.5 cm sandal (Size 1).

There are 5 sizes of bar available:
- Preemie bar 1: complete with sandals attached. Bar can be easily bent to required length. Sandals size 6.5cm length
- Preemie bar 2: complete with sandals attached. Bar can be easily bent to required length. Sandals size 6.9cm length
- Extra Short: (17.3cm – 25cm)
- Short: (20cm – 30cm)
- Long: (23.5cm – 37.8cm)
*Available with toe stilt
PFS available from size 00
Parents of infants born with clubfeet may be reassured that their baby, if otherwise normal, when treated by expert hands will have normal looking feet with normal function for all practical purposes. The well-treated clubfoot is no handicap and is fully compatible with a normal, active life.
