MD Orthopaedics was founded by John Mitchell in 2003 for the purpose of providing an effective, patient friendly device to assist in the treatment of clubfoot.

MD Orthopaedics worked with Dr Ponseti at the University of Iowa to develop the original Ponseti brace which has subsequently been used to successfully to help tens of thousands of children throughout the world.

The MD Orthopaedics Ponseti clubfoot brace developed in collaboration with Dr Ponseti and the only brace that legitimately bears the “Ponseti” name.

In addition to the original Ponseti brace MD Orthopaedics has a range a additional products to support and promote the global adoption of the Ponseti method for clubfoot treatment.
