The five stage plaster cast models show the different stages of the serial casting technique applied in the Ponseti method. As well as being a useful reference for practitioners, they are extremely useful items to show parents, so that they know what to expect as treatment progresses.
These wall mounted cast models are for comparison to the application. Five stages of the applications are available.
Parents of infants born with clubfeet may be reassured that their baby, if otherwise normal, when treated by expert hands will have normal looking feet with normal function for all practical purposes. The well-treated clubfoot is no handicap and is fully compatible with a normal, active life.
